NFL Makes Spectacular Joe Burrow Announcement After Huge Season

The Super Bowl is the only game left to be played in the 2024 season before the league calendar year rolls over and teams are able to begin improving their respective squads.

For the Cincinnati Bengals, there are plenty of improvements set to be made after they posted a subpar 9-8 record with an abysmal 1-4 start to their campaign.

With the Super Bowl on the horizon, the NFL awards were announced to further close the 2024 season. While Joe Burrow posted an MVP-caliber campaign, the award will ultimately go to Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

Despite throwing for 4,918 yards and 43 touchdowns with just nine interceptions, the Bengals superstar signal-caller was remarkable, though the nine-win campaign wasn't good enough to win the MVP award.

Should Cincinnati improve next season, Burrow could be in the running for the award, though. 

For now, he will have to settle with one major award he did, in fact, take home after his 2024 campaign.

One season removed from making just ten appearances -- posting a 5-5 record in 2023 -- Burrow was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
