Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been a master at the NFL Draft. One of his Day 3 picks could end up being a success in 2025, but not many people are talking about him outside of Philadelphia, until now.

Bleacher Report writer Damian Parson shared a list of six rookies who are being overlooked that could generate significant buzz at training camp. Parson named Eagles fourth-round pick Ty Robinson as one of those guys.

"Whenever a team wins the Super Bowl, the residual effects are losing players in free agency to bigger deals on the open market.

Once free agency began, the Philadelphia Eagles lost defensive lineman Milton Williams to the New England Patriots.

The defending Super Bowl champions have to prepare to be the hunted instead of the hunter. After losing a player like Williams, Philadelphia went to the trenches during the draft and recruited IDL Ty Robinson.

The fourth-round pick is a big, athletic defensive lineman with developmental upside. The Eagles still have a good rotation of talent on the defensive line, which will allow him to develop at his own pace.

He can shift momentum in his direction with a strong showing during training camp. If Robinson improves his pass-rush plan and process while being an unmovable object in the run game, his snap count will steadily increase."

Robinson has the potential to be something special on the defensive line

Last year at Nebraska, Robinson played 13 games where he posted 37 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four pass breakups, and a forced fumble. 2024 ended with him earning a third-team All-Big Ten selection.

While the rest of the NFL has not been noticing, Robinson has already made quite a buzz with the team this offseason during workouts. His teammates, Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter, have already complimented him for how well he has picked up everything so far.

Robinson has plenty of competition at second string, as he will have to face off with Thomas Booker IV, Byron Young, and Gabe Hall. There shouldn't be any concerns about Robinson not winning a roster spot unless something crazy happens, as he should be solid in the rotation.

The hope he is can come in and be the nice replacement for former Eagle Milton Williams. Robinson doesn't need to match his skill level in 2025, but someone Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio can rely onto play and give guys like Carter, Davis, and Moro Ojomo a rest.

Fans in Philadelphia already have high expectations for Robinson. It's time for the NFL to catch up on all the latest buzz on the former Cornhusker.
