Yardbarker's Ryan Fowler runs down some NFL player prop bets for Week 14 and beyond.
Tennessee's Derrick Henry became just the second running back in NFL history to rush 99 yards for a touchdown during the Titans blowout win over the Jaguars Thursday night. Some social media pundits considered it one of the best runs of all-time as Henry stiff-armed his opponents and shredded tackles on his way to the end zone. He joins fellow Heisman Trophy winner Tony Dorsett as the only two players to complete the feat. However, Henry wasn't done as he rushed 16 other times for 139 yards with three more touchdowns.
Despite the big game, he trails two rookie running backs by more than 200 rushing yards. We'll focus on that duo as we kick off our NFL Week 14 prop bet rundown.

Who Will Have More Rushing Yards in the 2018 Regular Season?
Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Saquon Barkley (-135) | Phillip Lindsay (-105)
Well, well, well, look who's finally getting the respect he deserves. After averaging 98.5 rushing yards per game over the past six contests, Phillip Lindsay has closed within 17 rush yards on Saquon Barkley for the rookie rushing title. Whereas Barkley has to work sideline-to-sideline to gain five-to-six yards, Lindsay's offensive line creates running lanes where the undrafted rookie out of Colorado can run north-south, which takes less of a toll on his body.
The Bet: Lindsay

Odds: Over 17.5 (-120) | Under 17.5 (-120)
Cam Newton's shoulder isn't healthy, which has limited the Panthers offense throughout this season. So, we've watched McCaffrey's role grow during this his second season. While I like the Browns (+2) to cover and win at home, Carolina will lean on their hybrid running back to provide the offensive spark against the 28th-ranked rush defense.

Odds: Over 2.5 (+300) | Under 2.5 (-500)
Beckham is 2-for-2 passing for 106 yards and two touchdowns this season. With four games to go, the Giants' season in the tank and franchise about to turn the page on Eli Manning, don't be surprised to see Beckham air it out one more time.

Total Combined Fumbles Lost and Interceptions in Week 14 - Mark Sanchez
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Over 1.5 (-105) | Under 1.5 (-135)
To be fair, Sanchez was truly the definition of an emergency quarterback option for the Washington Redskins last Monday night and because Colt McCoy broke his leg, the sirens rang out. Unfortunately for Sanchez, he hadn't digested enough of the playbook during his limited tenure as the Redskins' QB-2. With a full week of practice, Sanchez will be far from an elite fantasy football option, but at least he'll have had some time with the first string offense and learned more of the playbook to compete. The New York Giants need to start thinking about Draft position over late-season meaningless wins. They'll throttle it down against Sanchez.

What a mess Atlanta turned out to be this season. They've averaged just 17 points per game during their current four-game losing streak. On the flip side, Green Bay has allowed nearly 24 points per game over their past five. With Mike McCarthy out as head coach, I do believe Aaron Rodgers does everything in HIS power to blow the Falcons out. However, the Packers defense is still one of the league's worst. What they do have going in their favor is Lambeau Field home field advantage, which are expected to feature temperatures in the mid-20's at kickoff.

Total Rushing Yards Week 14 - Josh Allen vs. Jets
© Steve Mitchell | 2018 Dec 2
Odds: Over 38.5 (-130) | Under (-110)
After rushing for 135 yards against the Dolphins last week, Allen joined the likes of Mike Vick, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III as the most mobile quarterbacks in a single game since the merger. After rushing for 99 yards the week before against the Jaguars, there's little reason to believe he can't scramble for 39-or-more this week against the Jets.

Odds: Josh McDaniels (+175) | Lincoln Riley (+275) | John DeFilippo (+300)
The McDaniels narrative makes the most sense considering Aaron Rodgers needs a quarterback whisperer in his corner. With how McDaniels has guided Tom Brady - who must be close to retiring (right?) - all these years and considering he does have some NFL head coaching experience with the Broncos, both resume bullet points provide him a leg up on University of Oklahoma's Riley and Vikings offensive coordinator, DeFilippo.
The Bet: McDaniels

Will Marvin Lewis be the Head Coach of the Bengals for Game 1 of the 2019 Regular Season?
Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Yes (-175) | No (+145)
Wow. Oddsmakers are giving bettors nearly 1-to-2 odds (Risk $175 to win $100) that Lewis WILL return to the Bengals next season. Oddsmakers don't provide odds like that unless they are more than certain that something is closer to fact than not.
So, that poses this question: how many coaching lives does Marvin Lewis have?! Does he get another pass this season because of injuries to Andy Dalton and A.J. Green? I'm not buying it. Lewis' hourglass has run out.

Will Mike McCarthy be a Head Coach in the NFL at any point in the 2019 Regular Season?
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Yes +175 | No -260
With the way the league recycles head coaches, it wouldn't surprise me to see McCarthy earn another head coaching gig ahead of the start of next season. However, after all the whispers and innuendo surrounding his fallout with Aaron Rodgers, perhaps McCarthy wants to sit out a year like Bruce Arians did this season. Arians claims he's eager to coach the Browns next season. So, perhaps McCarthy can recharge in 2019 with a potential return in 2020.

Will Urban Meyer be the Head Coach of the Browns for Game 1 of the 2019 Regular Season?
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

This prop bet should read:
"Will Urban Meyer's wife leave him if he is head coach of the Cleveland Browns Game 1 of the 2019 regular season"
Odds: Yes (-1200) | No (+600)
The Bet: Heck, no!

Will the Houston Texans win the remainder of their Regular Season Games in the 2018-2019 Season?
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Yes +275 | No -450
Their remaining opponents are against the Colts (home), Jets (away), Eagles (away) and Jaguars (home). The back-to-back away games Week 15 and 16 are going to hurt Houston's chances. Carson Wentz and the Eagles aren't perfect, but they don't have to be late in the season when hosting. Philadelphia will be in a dog fight for the NFC East crown still and one should expect Houston's jet lag to catch up with them ahead of what they hope is a deep postseason push.

Will Phillip Rivers throw at least 2 touchdown in every game during the 2018 Regular Season?
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Yes (+250) | No (-400)
He'll torch the Bengals and the Chiefs over the next two weeks. However, the Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. Rivers' streak of at least two touchdown passes in a game ends there.

The end of the Le'Veon Bell era in Pittsburgh wasn't so bad so long as the Steelers boasted John Conner. However, the second-year back out of Iowa will miss Week 14's matchup against the Raiders due to a sprained ankle. Enter rookie Jaylen Samuels, who had been used sparingly before last week's game against the Chargers. While Pittsburgh's claims it'll be a timeshare between Samuels and veteran Stevan Ridley, the Raiders possess the second-worst rush defense in the NFL and allow 5.0 yards per carry. Give Samuels 12-15 rush attempts and watch him hammer the OVER.

Who will have more combined tackles and sacks in Week 14?
Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports
Odds: Aaron Donald (-130) | Khalil Mack (-110)
Week 14's can't-miss featured matchup is the Bears hosting the Rams. While two of the league's top defenders don't literally go head-to-head, Donald and Mack will no doubt make an impact during this game.
After a hot start to the season, Mack has cooled off a bit as of late, but is coming of a five-tackle and one sack effort against the Giants. On the flip side, Donald has been unstoppable with 4-5 tackles and better than two sacks per game over the past three contests.
The Bet: Donald
