On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 in the Divisional Round, which secured them a spot in the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders.
It was a close game until the final minutes, when the Eagles forced a turnover on downs, with the Rams just 22 yards away from the endzone.
However, Philadelphia would not have been in a position to win the game without running back Saquon Barkley. He ran the ball 26 times for 205 yards and two touchdowns.
It was simply a mismatch for the Rams' defense, ranking 22nd in rushing yards per game allowed (130) during the regular season.
During the game former teammate and New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. shared his true feelings about Saquon.
"So (expletive) proud of that boy!!!" he said. "Since day one the illesttt I seeen put on cleats, that’s on my soul @saquon."
Of course, it may have been brief, but the two did share a season together in New York, which came in 2018 and was Barkley's rookie year.
It's also not much of a surprise to see Barkley perform this week against the Rams, as during the regular season, he accumulated 2,005 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
He was also effective in the receiving game with 33 receptions, 278 yards, and two touchdowns.
