Only one team makes sense for Jeremiyah Love

The NFL has changed a lot in the past two decades or so, and it has become less common to see running backs drafted in the top 10, let alone the top five.

That might be the case with Jeremiyah Love this year, as the Notre Dame product is slotted at No. 4 in most big boards.

Nevertheless, as much as the Tennessee Titans would love to have a player like him, they might not be the best fit; they don't have a solid offensive line to block for him.

That's why, of all teams picking in the top 10, Love should only want to play for the Washington Commanders.

Washington Commanders make perfect sense for Jeremiyah Love

While the Commanders aren't the only team with a well-established offensive line, they're the only team in the top 10 with a solid line and a glaring need for a bell-cow running back.

Ashton Jeanty (Las Vegas Raiders), Breece Hall (New York Jets) and Quinshon Judkins (Cleveland Browns) will lead their teams in carries, and the Arizona Cardinals, like the Titans, have a shaky line.

As for the New York Giants, they're a bit of a wild card; their line isn't that bad, and he'd be an upgrade over Cam Skattebo, but they seem to have greater needs on defense.

The Commanders hope that quarterback Jayden Daniels will be fully healthy next season, and having a dynamic, do-it-all running back to take weight off his shoulders would be the best way to do it.

Love is one of the most complete running back prospects we've seen in years, and with the Commanders' unimpressive WR room, having a ball carrier who can also be a factor in the passing game is a must.

At the end of the day, it's hard to believe the Titans will pass on a chance to get the hurdling machine out of Notre Dame.

That said, his Hall of Fame-hopeful career would probably get off to a much better start in the nation's capital.
