Week 9 of the 2025 NFL regular season has already started, but the performance of Jordan Love in last Sunday’s Week 8 win over Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers continues to be the talk in the football realm.
And how couldn’t it be? Love delivered a spectacular showing to help Green Bay spoil Rodgers’ aspiration to score a win in a revenge game versus his former team. The former Utah State Aggies star quarterback outsplayed Rodgers, passing for 360 yards and three touchdowns with zero turnovers in a 35-25 victory at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
On the season, the 26-year-old Love has 1,798 passing yards and 13 touchdowns against only two interceptions. While he’s not among the top favorites to win the NFL MVP this season, Love is doing a fine job of being in the conversation, at least.
On Friday, Green Bay offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich added to the ton of praises Love has gotten since besting Rodgers and the Steelers.
“That was probably one of the best games he’s played here,” Stenavich told the media about Love (h/t Rob Demovsky of ESPN).
With Love leading the Packers’ attack, Green Bay entered Week 9 ranked fifth in the league with an average of 27.6 points per game and seventh with 245.0 passing yards per contest.
