Packers announce several coaching staff changes for 2024
Dan Powers/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin-USA TODAY NETWORK

The Green Bay Packers have officially announced their full coaching staff for the 2024 NFL season. The majority of changes were on defense, since new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley was able to build his staff. But there are also minor additions elsewhere.

Head coach: Matt LaFleur

Offensive Coaching Staff

  • Adam Stenavich – Offensive Coordinator
  • Luke Butkus – Offensive Line
  • Tom Clements – Quarterbacks
  • John Dunn – Tight Ends
  • Eddie Gordon – Assistant Offensive Line
  • Rob Grosso – Offensive Quality Control
  • Connor Lewis – Assistant Quarterbacks
  • Ryan Mahaffey – Wide Receivers
  • Sean Mannion – Offensive Assistant
  • Ben Sirmans – Running Backs
  • Jason Vrable – Passing Game Coordinator
  • Myles White – Coaching Assistant (Minority Fellowship)

On offense, Ryan Mahaffey has been promoted from assistant offensive line coach to wide receivers coach, leaving Jason Vrable exclusively as a passing game coordinator. Eddie Gordon has been hired as the new assistant offensive line coach. Former quarterback Sean Mannion is an offensive assistant, and former wide receiver Myles White is a coaching assistant.

Rob Grosso is the only quality control coach now, which means Quinshon Odom and Ramsen Golpashin were let go.

Defensive Coaching Staff

  • Jeff Hafley – Defensive Coordinator
  • Derrick Ansley – Passing Game Coordinator (Defense)
  • Anthony Campanile – Linebackers/Running Game Coordinator
  • Wendel Davis – Defensive Quality Control
  • Ryan Downard – Defensive Backs
  • Sean Duggan – Defensive Assistant
  • Vince Oghobaase – Assistant Defensive Line
  • Anthony Perkins – Defensive Quality Control
  • Jason Rebrovich – Defensive Line

On defense, there have been major changes, but everything had already been reported at this point. The only slight difference is that Anthony Perkins won't be an assistant DBs coach, but a quality control coach.

Special Teams Coaching Staff

  • Rich Bisaccia – Assistant Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator
  • Byron Storer – Assistant Special Teams
  • Kyle Wilber – Special Teams Quality Control

The special teams staff remains untouched.

Strength and Conditioning Staff

  • Aaron Hill – Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
  • Marcus Jones – Strength & Conditioning Assistant
  • Ben Schumacher – Strength & Conditioning Assistant

This is totally different than it was in 2023. Aaron Hill, a former San Francisco 49ers assistant, replaces Chris Gizzi as the coordinator. The assistants are also new, Marcus Jones and Ben Schumacher. That means Thadeus Jackson, Mark Lovat, and Grant Thorne have been fired as well.
