The Green Bay Packers have officially announced their full coaching staff for the 2024 NFL season. The majority of changes were on defense, since new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley was able to build his staff. But there are also minor additions elsewhere.
Head coach: Matt LaFleur
On offense, Ryan Mahaffey has been promoted from assistant offensive line coach to wide receivers coach, leaving Jason Vrable exclusively as a passing game coordinator. Eddie Gordon has been hired as the new assistant offensive line coach. Former quarterback Sean Mannion is an offensive assistant, and former wide receiver Myles White is a coaching assistant.
Rob Grosso is the only quality control coach now, which means Quinshon Odom and Ramsen Golpashin were let go.
On defense, there have been major changes, but everything had already been reported at this point. The only slight difference is that Anthony Perkins won't be an assistant DBs coach, but a quality control coach.
The special teams staff remains untouched.
This is totally different than it was in 2023. Aaron Hill, a former San Francisco 49ers assistant, replaces Chris Gizzi as the coordinator. The assistants are also new, Marcus Jones and Ben Schumacher. That means Thadeus Jackson, Mark Lovat, and Grant Thorne have been fired as well.
