The injuries are beginning to mount for the Packers, and the onslaught continued in Sunday’s heatbreaking loss to the Cleveland Browns.
With Zach Tom and Aaron Banks both banged up, joining Jayden Reed among the offensive players battling through injuries, the Packers’ defense took a blow of its own on Sunday afternoon.
Safety Javon Bullard is in the concussion protocol, following a brutal hit during Sunday’s loss to the Browns, according to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur.
Bullard, 23, was knocked from the game late in the fourth quarter after posting four total tackles with one tackle for loss against the Browns.
The former second-round pick in the 2024 draft, out of Georgia, is a young player the Packers are optimistic about becoming a dominant force in the secondary alongside All-Pro Xavier McKinney, and through three weeks he’s posted 18 total tackles with one tackle for loss.
