Optimism is surging in Green Bay that this could be a special season for the Packers, and that belief is shared by some inside the league.

As Jordan Love enters his third season as the Packers’ starting quarterback, with an influx of weapons around him, and a defense looking to make a leap from a stellar 2024 season, Green Bay has the pieces in place not just to make a run at the NFC North crown but at the Lombardi Trophy.

NFL Executive Has Packers Super Bowl Prediction

In my recent survey of current NFL Executives, Coaches, Scouts, and Players, Jordan Love was a popular selection as MVP, and one respondent believes the Packers square off with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in Santa Clara in Super Bowl 60.

“The Packers have a ton of weapons, and Jordan Love will have to play at [an MVP] level for them to be contenders,” an AFC scout told me.

Green Bay’s 2024 campaign ended in a loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Eagles, in the NFC Wild Card round in Philadelphia, but if Love can bounce back and the young pieces around him hit their stride, the Packers could be built to make a much deeper postseason run in 2025 perhaps even culminating in green and gold confetti swirling in Santa Clara, Calif.
