Packers’ Kenny Clark Named a Top Bounce-Back Candidate Across the NFL

When ESPN released the results of its annual survey of NFL executives, coaches, and scouts of the top players at each position, Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark’s name was nowhere to be found.

Clark’s production dipped in 2024 to just 37 total tackles, with one sack, but there remains optimism that he’ll be able to bounce back in a second season playing under Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.

After being left out of this year’s survey, ESPN suggests Clark could bounce back and find his way back onto the top-10 list next summer.

“The durable Clark started all 17 games for the third straight season,” the ESPN desk writes of Clark. “But was unable to build on a strong statistical 2023 that saw him record a career 7.5 sacks and reach his third Pro Bowl. Clark told reporters in June that he played the entire 2024 season through a foot injury sustained Week 1 in Brazil. Set to begin his 10th season with the Packers, the 29-year-old Clark seeks a healthier journey in 2025.”

Clark was No. 9 on the list going into the 2024 campaign, and could play his way back into being one of the top players at the position if he’s able to be fully healthy and plays at an even higher level than he did last fall.
