Packers’ Matt LaFleur teases Tucker Kraft practice ‘treat’

Kraft tore his ACL during the 2025 NFL season. He is expected to play a large role in Green Bay’s passing game, when he is able to return to the field this season.

The Packers tight end was seen on Sunday before Green Bay’s practice, wearing a full uniform. Video of him was released by ESPN.

Before getting hurt, Kraft posted 32 receptions in 2025. He also posted 489 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Packers fans are hoping he will be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season.

In his career, Kraft has 1,551 receiving yards. He also has caught 15 career touchdowns. He was drafted by Green Bay in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Packers expect a lot of wins this season. Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love has spoken highly of his offense during training camp. Packers fans are excited to hear that, as the team has some injuries on defense. The squad will have to start the campaign without star pass rusher Micah Parsons.

The team lost their first NFL preseason game, to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Green Bay managed just nine points in the contest. The Packers secondary was also lit up by Steelers rookie quarterback Drew Allar.

“We’ve got to go back and look at it,” LaFleur said postgame, per the team. “In fairness to our guys, there’s not a ton of game planning. You’re playing pretty base calls when you go out there. We’ll see where the breakdowns were and see what concepts were run against us.”

Green Bay next plays the Denver Broncos on August 21, in another preseason game. The Packers made the NFL Playoffs in 2025, before losing to the Chicago Bears.
