The Green Bay Packers have all eyes on them as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Browns this coming Sunday. Green Bay carries some intriguing narratives heading into that contest, including the fact that they are undefeated with a 2-0 record after thwarting the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders.
But apart from that, another interesting storyline for the Packers’ date with Cleveland is the looming showcase of two of the best pass rushers of this generation. Green Bay has two-time All-Pro Micah Parsons, whereas the Browns have former NFL Defensive Player of the Year and four-time All-Pro Myles Garrett.
Although they are not going to go head-to-head on the field, Parsons and Garrett present a chance for football fans to see two staggeringly talented pass rushers try to one-up each other.
Parsons, however, doesn’t seem to have any problem about what people thinks about where he stands in the conversation of who’s better between him and Garrett.
“If you argued Myles is better, I wouldn’t hesitate to probably say you’re right,” Parsons said, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
When asked how many people he’d make such an exception, Parsons said “just him.”
In any case, Parsons’ main focus is on helping the Packers contain Cleveland’s attack more than winning the battle of public perception when it comes to his status opposite Garrett.
Parsons only has 1.5 sacks so far in the 2025 campaign, while Garrett has 3.5 to his name already.
