Micah Parsons suffered his first defeat with the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, with Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns pulling off a 13-10 stunner at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
Green Bay had a 10-point cushion in the fourth quarter, but the Packers squandered that double-digit lead to the gritty Browns squad, which sealed the deal with a game-winning field goal kick by rookie kicker Andre Szmyt.
“This is the character building, this is the adversity… undefeated seasons, they’re hard in the NFL… and sometimes just like today, you s**t the bed… it’s hard as hell to win football games,” Parsons told reporters about the loss to Cleveland, per Lily Zhao of FOX6 News.
On Monday, Cleveland Cavaliers star guard Donovan Mitchell shared a photo of Parsons while walking in the tunnel of Huntington Bank Field. Apparently, Mitchell noticed the shoes Parsons was wearing, which were a pair of shoes from the former NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion’s D.O.N line with adidas
Parsons and Mitchell play different sports professionally, but they also have something in common: they are both adidas athletes.
Parsons was signed by adidas in 2024, when he was still with the Dallas Cowboys.
“Since day one, I’ve wanted to be a global ambassador for the game, inspiring the next generation of athletes and fans around the world,” said Parsons of his signing with adidas last year, per the sportswear giant’s official website. “It’s very clear to me that adidas is best aligned with my ambitions and career goals. The three stripes has already done so much for me and I know that this is going to be special.”
So far in the 2025 NFL season, the 26-year-old Parsons has 1.5 sacks and three solo tackles through three games.
