JUGS machines are just as big a part of football as up-down drills and Oklahoma's, and the Green Bay Packers have themselves an awesome one.
For the uninitiated or those who have never been to football practice, JUGS machines historically have looked like two spinning wheels on top of a tripod. Someone inserts a football between the spinning wheels and it shoots the ball out — simulating a pass, punt, or kickoff.
Receivers and returners use the JUGS machine to practice their hands, but apparently, the one the Packers now have is so sophisticated that Green Bay's defensive backs can now even practice the ball being released by a specific quarterback.
A fancy new JUGS machine from @MonarcSport. The Packers are using Monarc on a one-month trial basis and are their first NFL client.

It was just explained to us by a Monarc employee that this computer can release balls for DBs exactly how Kirk Cousins throws them, for example. pic.twitter.com/P6maEWJyG4
From the looks of it, Green Bay's new Monarc JUGS machine comes with a film-watching feature, and it also probably throws interceptions in crunch time — ala Kirk Cousins. This ain't your daddy's JUGS machine.
