Panthers newest draft pick sends blunt message to Carolina and rest of NFL

When Princely Umanmielen picked up the call from the Carolina Panthers on Day 2 of the NFL Draft, he didn’t just thank them—he challenged them.

“I’m gonna have to break y’all’s pockets in 3-4 years,” the rookie edge rusher said. It wasn’t arrogance. It was a bold promise from a player already wired for the spotlight—and ready to cash in on his potential.
