Panthers TE calls Bryce Young best quarterback in NFL

The Carolina Panthers are currently gearing up for their upcoming game against the divisional rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers are coming off a recent comfortable road win over the Philadelphia Eagles, one in which quarterback Bryce Young continued to play at an elite level, as has been the case for most of this season.

Recently, Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble dropped a hot take on Young’s stature in the league amid his hot start to the season.

“He’s been playing out of his mind. I don’t think there’s a better QB in the league right now playing at his level. And he’s been consistent with it,” he said, per Jordan Schultz on X, formerly Twitter.

While most pundits might not go as far as to call Young the best in the league, he is certainly playing like one of the upper-echelon quarterbacks so far this year, dicing up opposing defenses and using his mobility to his advantage, looking more comfortable than ever in his role as Carolina’s starter.

Young got off to a rough start to his career with the Panthers after being drafted number one overall, with some fans wondering if the team might move on from him altogether at times, but the organization’s patience has paid off, as he now looks to be Carolina’s clear franchise cornerstone moving forward, and has even garnered some early fringe MVP buzz at this juncture of the season.

The Panthers are already starting to create some distance in the playoff race thanks to the ineptitude of the NFC South division, and they can further increase that lead with a win on Sunday against the Buccaneers at 1:00 pm ET.
