On Thursday, Randi Mahomes, best known as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' mom, formalized the launch of her latest venture, "The Sports Parent Academy."
Randi calls it a "comprehensive online course and playbook" designed to walk parents through every stage of their child’s athletic journey, "with confidence, clarity, and purpose."
This includes expert-led modules with professional psychologists and parenting coaches, practical playbooks for planning practice schedules and nutrition guides and even live Q&A sessions with Randi and guest experts.
In a post on X shared shortly after the course went live, she said, "God really answers prayers ❤️," suggesting that she’d been seeking divine help to see this project through smoothly.

Randi Martin (now Mahomes) grew up in Tyler, Texas, and was married to Pat Mahomes Sr. a former Major League Baseball pitcher before becoming pregnant with Patrick at 20.
Patrick was drafted 10th overall by the Chiefs in 2017 and would go on to win the starting job the following year, finishing the season with 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns, becoming only the second quarterback (after Peyton Manning) to eclipse both 5,000 yards and 50 TDs in one year.
He won NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors that season, and has since led Kansas City to five Super Bowls, winning three titles and three Super Bowl MVPs.
Just a few months ago, Randi was in New Orleans supporting her son at Super Bowl LIX, where the Chiefs fell 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, she's launching her own business venture that leverages everything she's learned as a parent of one of the world's biggest professional athletes.
