
Patrick Mahomes has been missing from the Kansas City Chiefs lineup for the past two games.
Mahomes suffered a season-ending torn ACL and LCL in his left knee in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Chiefs have played the last two weeks without the NFL star after he was placed on injured reserve.
While he's been away from the team in terms of on-field play, Mahomes hasn't skipped a beat with his leadership in the locker room.
On Wednesday, after the Chiefs practiced ahead of their matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, center Creed Humphrey talked about the franchise quarterback.
"He's been around," Humphrey said. "He's still helping out, leading guys."

Mahomes suffered the knee injury late in the Dec. 14 loss to the Chargers, which eliminated the Chiefs from playoff contention. Kansas City is heading into Sunday's game against the with a 6-10 record, having lost five straight games.
The Chiefs are in third place in the AFC West, sitting behind Denver Broncos (13-3) and the Chargers (11-5). The Broncos are vying for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, while Los Angeles will be a wild-card team.
Patrick Mahomes finished his ninth season with the Kansas City Chiefs completing 62.7% of his passes for 3,587 yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also had career highs in rushing yards (422) and touchdowns (five).
