Over the course of this NFL offseason, one of the biggest questions was when/if Aaron Rodgers would sign to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers for what could be the final season of his Hall of Fame career. And while Rodgers did sign a one-year $13.65 million deal (that can be worth as much as $19.5 million), he did not do so until this past weekend.
In the weeks between his release from the New York Jets and his signing with the Steelers, there was a great deal of speculation regarding what he was going to do. Some believed he would retire, others thought he was waiting on a different NFL team to come calling.
And in that time, Rodgers made very few public appearances. But when he did, social media detectives spotted something very interesting on his hand. Specifically, on his left ring finger.
While attending the Kentucky Derby, as he does every year, Rodgers was seen with a ring on his left ring finger, leading many to wonder if he had gotten married.

Back in December, while making an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers let it slip that he had a girlfriend named Brittani, and that he was “in love.”
And when Rodgers was photographed signing his contract with the Steelers, that ring was on display again:

So, on Tuesday, in his first media session at the Steelers quarterback following mandatory minicamp practice, Rodgers was asked if he was married.
And he confirmed that he is:

Rodgers confirmed that it was a wedding ring that he was wearing, said “Thank you,” when offered congratulations, and said “It’s been a couple months” when asked how long.
As of right now, those are all the details that he is making available to the public.
