Post-waiver wire fantasy football pickups for Week 14

We made a list, checked it twice and, like a bunch of misfit toys, found these guys still hanging around the waiver wire in Week 14.

RB: Zach Charbonnet ( Seattle Seahawks)

Charbonnet didn’t exactly stuff the stat sheet last week, but unlike starter Kenneth Walker III, he did find the end zone for a game-winning score while posting double-digit (12.1) fantasy numbers. Walker saw 12 more touches against the Jets but may not be available when the team travels to Arizona.

Walker was unable to practice on Thursday and was limited with ankle and calf injuries the day before. With six games of single-digit fantasy scores this season, Charbonnet’s floor is dangerously low, but if Walker is out or even limited on Sunday, Seattle’s backup running back should be a top priority for fantasy managers.

Charbonnet is available in 54% of Yahoo leagues.

QB: Will Levis (Tennessee Titans)

Levis failed to throw a touchdown for only the second time all year against the Commanders last week but still managed to put up a respectable 16.1 fantasy points in a 42-19 loss. Currently, Levis’ 12 touchdowns rank 23rd among quarterbacks, but seven of those scores have come in the past four games.

His total would be higher if not for a shoulder injury that kept him out for three weeks. According to ESPN’s Turron Davenport, Levis used his down time to recalibrate his approach, something that head coach Brian Callahan appreciates.

"There's definitely a calming presence to him now," Callahan said, adding, "I've gotten a better feel for the throws that he makes really well, and he's got a lot of confidence right now throwing the ball down the field."

Levis should have no problem moving the ball at home against the Jaguars this week. Jacksonville allowed 75 points over its last two games, and no team gives up more fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (22.58) this season.

Levis is available in 82% of Yahoo leagues.

QB: Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers)

Carolina is a 13-point underdog to Philadelphia this week, but that doesn’t mean Young can’t post decent fantasy numbers. Young averaged 20.0 fantasy points over his last two games, both losses, and 11.4 fantasy points in two previous wins.

The Eagles average the third-most yards (377.7) and eighth-most points (26.7) per game this year, which could lead to lots of “garbage time” yards and points while the Panthers play “catch up.”

With 298 yards and a touchdown, Young outplayed Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield in Week 13, scoring a season-high 23.6 fantasy points. He’s looked much better since his early-season benching and is worth a stash with a suspect Cowboys defense on tap for Week 15.

Young is available in 95% of Yahoo leagues.
