Protester trucked by Rams' Bobby Wagner reportedly suffered concussion

According to TMZ Sports, the Santa Clara Police Department explained in a report that Alexander Taylor, the protestor leveled by Los Angeles Rams LB Bobby Wagner two Mondays ago, suffered a concussion as a result of the hit seen around the sports world.

"Mr. Taylor had a headache, a concussion without loss of consciousness, and a burn on his inner right bicep," that report said.

It's assumed the burn is related to a smoke device that Taylor used as part of the protest, but police are still investigating the incident.

TMZ and ESPN's Sarah Barshop previously mentioned that Taylor is linked with the animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere and wished to "raise awareness for a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm." A spokesperson for that organization said last week that Taylor filed the police report because a "blatant assault" occurred at Levi's Stadium.

Rams head coach Sean McVay and former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn are among those who have defended Wagner for protecting himself and others on the field.

Meanwhile, it was learned on Tuesday that a photographer who was shoved to the ground by Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams shortly after Monday's game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs filed a police report and said he was the victim of an assault. Adams could be fined and/or even suspended for his actions.
