Rams star receiver Puka Nacua is receiving a lot of notifications this morning.

As the Seahawks went on to win the Super Bowl handily over Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots, Nacua made a curious post seemingly taking a shot at Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold.

Darnold finished 19-of-38 with 202 yards and a touchdown in the 29-13 victory. And while the numbers don't jump off the page, the former No. 3 pick played clean enough to allow his team earn it's first Lombardi Trophy in more than a decade (two weeks removed from outdueling LA's Matthew Stafford in the NFC title game).

Puka Nacua posts odd Sam Darnold callout

Taking to X at the end of Sunday night's Super Bowl, @AsapPuka tweeted out, " sam darnold," which drew plenty of reactions from around the football world:

"Ain’t you at home. Goofy ass," Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones replied.

"I’ve grown out of the 'talk smack at athletes on social media' stage of my life. I’m firmly in the 'people need to have self awareness stage,'" a fan shared.

"This guy just kinda sucks, huh?" Barstool's John Rich posted.

"What a loser," another person commented.

"This dude has to be the most unlikable player in the NFL," a user commented.

"almost impressive how quickly this guy turned himself into one of the league's most unlikable players," another fan pointed out.

"No one has ever gone from likeable underdog to entitled douchebag quicker than Puka."

Seahawks players back Darnold after Super Bowl 60 win

While Nacua seemingly has his opinion, Seattle's players definitely have theirs. After raising the Lombardi Trophy together last night, every one of Darnold's teammates spoke highly of the veteran QB.

"My dawg's a motherf—ing Super Bowl winner," Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon shouted on the field. "I see ya, Sammy!"

"He's a killer," backup quarterback Drew Lock said. "He's resilient."

"It's special, man, I'm not going to lie," Darnold admitted to reporters following the win. "It's a dream come true. It really is. I'm just going to continue to lean into that and soak it all in."

Sam Darnold's story in the NFL is certainly a special one and he deserves all the credit in the world for sticking with it and turning his career around. And he now has a distinction that Nacua can't say: Super Bowl champion.
