Fifty-seven days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick as this daily countdown continues through the franchise’s best players by jersey number.
Today, Feb. 25, the number is 57.
Jerry Robinson is the pick for No. 57 because he brought playmaking and range to the Raiders linebacking corps during his seven-season run. From 1985-1991, he was a steady starter who also produced splash plays.
Robinson played 97 games for the Raiders and started 70. He added six interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, which is the separator for this number.

No. 57 has a few names with shorter runs, but Robinson has the most complete Raiders resume. He combined durability with the kind of turnovers that change games.
He also carried leaguewide recognition. Robinson made a Pro Bowl in his career, and his Raiders seasons were a major part of his reputation.
Robinson was born Dec. 18, 1956, in Marin County, California. He played at Cardinal Newman High School in California before starring at UCLA.
The Philadelphia Eagles drafted him in the first round, 21st overall, in 1979. Later, he joined the Raiders and became a long-term contributor on defense.
Robinsons Raiders case is built on two-way value: 70 starts and impact plays, highlighted by two pick-sixes. For No. 57, the number belongs to him.
Next up tomorrow: No. 56.
