The Las Vegas Raiders have a brand new look under head coach Pete Carroll.

Carroll is leading a new and improved team with Geno Smith at quarterback, Ashton Jeanty and running back and several other newcomers.

One of the most promising and consistent players rostered for Las Vegas is tight end Brock Bowers.

Bowers began his second season with the Raiders in a matchup against the New England Patriots. In the matchup against the Patriots, Bowers posted 103 yards on five receptions.

The Raiders tight end was held out of the game sometime in the second half and did not return for Las Vegas.

After suffering a knee injury, Bowers was ruled out.

On Monday, Raiders' Pete Carroll issued a statement on Brock Bowers' injury situation.

"We're just going day-to-day," Carroll said. "Those kids are tough guys now. They're not going to take the easy way out of this. They're going to push to get right. These three days right now are really crucial."

Brock Bowers is widely regarded as one of the best tight ends in the NFL, despite playing in his second season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

While the Raiders lost Bowers, they were able to obtain a 20-13 victory over the New England Patriots.

The Raiders are now set to face the Los Angeles Chargers at 10 p.m. ET in Week 2 on 'Monday Night Football.'

Last season with the Las Vegas Raiders, Brock Bowers posted five touchdowns and 1,194 yards on 112 receptions.
