Ranking Potential Breakout Wide Receivers for the Raiders

Jack Bech was selected in the second round of the 2025 draft by the Raiders, and he wasn't overly productive in his first year in Las Vegas. However, I think he's primed for the biggest breakout among their young receivers because of what he can do in the blocking game.

Kubiak invested heavily in their offensive line this offseason because he's going to want to run the ball. Bech is a phenomenal blocker for a receiver, and if he and Kirk Cousins can continue to fine-tune their connection and he can become a reliable target on third downs, it's going to be impossible to keep him off the field.

Jalen Nailor

Jalen Nailor was one of the Raiders' biggest signings this offseason. He was a consistent piece of the potent passing attack of the Minnesota Vikings, but the Silver and Black will truly be a place for him to shine. Kubiak wanted him on his team, so I expect big things out of him in 2026.

Nailor and Tre Tucker are similar archetypes of receivers, so there could be some serious target competition between the two of them. I'd give Nailor the edge because they gave him a three-year, $35 million deal in free agency, while Tucker is in the last year of his rookie contract.

Malik Benson

Finally, I'm extremely intrigued by what Malik Benson can do in his rookie season. He was one of the fastest receivers in his draft class and looks to be developing a genuine connection with Fernando Mendoza.

Dont'e Thornton Jr. is another speedster who could provide some value for the Raiders, but he's been dealing with an injury that's kept him out of practices and both preseason games the Raiders have played. That lays down the perfect foundation for Benson to take the tops off of defenses in his rookie season and be a surprise breakout receiver for them in 2026.
