Ravens HC John Harbaugh: Dolphins 'outcoached us, outplayed us' in Week 10 loss

The Baltimore Ravens lost for the second time in its last three games on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins and head coach John Harbaugh is placing the brunt of the blame on himself.

"Out-coached us, outplayed us," Harbaugh said, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. "Bottom line is, this falls squarely on me as the head coach. We were not prepared the way we needed to be prepared. Our schemes weren’t up to snuff. And we weren’t prepared to execute the way we needed to. So that’s it. Not on one player. Our players played their hearts out. ... We just weren’t ready, and that’s on me."

The AFC showdown was an offensive struggle for both sides through much of the night as the Dolphins led just 6-3 heading into the fourth quarter. Jason Sanders' third and final field goal of the night made it 9-3 in favor of Miami, before Xavien Howard took a fumble recovery 49 yards back for a touchdown to give the hosts a 15-3 edge.

The Ravens only touchdown of the game came with 4:12 left in the fourth quarter as quarterback Lamar Jackson found tight end Mark Andrews for a five-yard touchdown pass.

"It’s hard to win on Thursday night, but we’ve done it before and we’ve been successful," Harbaugh said. "We just played poorly and it’s because of our coaching. I didn’t do a good job getting these guys ready."

Now 6-3 on the year, Baltimore will play the Chicago Bears at 1:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 21.
