It seems Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is ready to bury the hatchet with the Bills fan involved in Sunday night's shoving incident.
After a third quarter touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins gave Baltimore a 34-19 lead over Buffalo, Jackson was slapped on the helmet by a member of Bills Mafia as his team celebrated near the front row of the Highmark Stadium crowd — leading to retaliation from the two-time MVP.
Lamar's shove sent the fan flying back and they were ejected and "indefinitely banned from [all] NFL stadiums," according to ESPN 's Adam Schefter.
Speaking to the media following Wednesday's practice session, Baltimore's star QB had a message for the fan in question.
"Just chill next time," Lamar said, via Sarah Ellison. "You can talk trash and stuff but keep your hands to yourself. ... It just happened. I got pushed. I'm like, what? I wasn't even thinking about me being out there on the field. My apologies to him."
"Stuff like that shouldn't be happening. It's not WWE," Jackson continued. "We're playing football out here. So just keep it to football. I know guys are going to talk trash. I know the opposing team is going to talk trash. Keep it that way. But keep your hands and keep your objects to yourself."
Lamar said that he hasn't heard from the league about any potential discipline he may face and that the NFL hasn't returned any of the team's emails about the altercation between he and the fan over the past several days.
The four-time Pro Bowler also revealed that he had a lengthy conversation about the situation with Ravens GM Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh.
"As far as I can tell, we're at a real good spot with that," Harbaugh said (via ESPN.com).
