Recap of Tuesday’s Miami Dolphins Practice

The Miami Dolphins had their sixth training camp practice on Tuesday.

This practice was also open to the general public, so here are some highlights of today’s action.

Today the Dolphins did some 11-on-11 work and red-zone work.

Greg Dulcich, Austin Jackson, Jamaree Salyer, and Lonnie Johnson did not practice today.

Ben Sims left practice early with a trainer and did not return.

Malik Willis hit Cole Turner on a short pass

Rookie Kyle Louis threw WR Tajh Washington to the ground after Cam Miller hit Washington for a pass

Patrick Paul had a false start on a play

Josh Uche beat Charlie Heck and threw Heck into Willis, but Willis was able to get the pass off and throw a TD to De’Von Achane. This was a red-zone drill

Quinn Ewers connected with Theo Wease for a TD in a red-zone drill

Louis Moore broke up a Quinn Ewers pass to Malik Washington

De’Von Achane ran right for a very short gain

Cameron Good had a very good day of practice getting pressure on the quarterback and in coverage

Josh Uche sacked Malik Willis

DJ Herman caught a swing pass for about 20 yards

Malik Willis threw an interception in the red zone; the pass was picked off by Zayne Anderson. The pass was intended to FB DJ Herman

Tyrel Dodson stopped Jaylen Wright near the line of scrimmage on a running play

Malik Willis hit DJ Herman for a 15-or-so-yard TD completion

Trey Moore had an amazing tackle at the line of scrimmage as he ran sideline to sideline to bring down Carlos Washington

Ollie Gordon converted a 3rd and 3 near the goal line for a touchdown

Alex Austin had an INT on a Quinn Ewers pass to Jalen Tolber that was very poorly thrown and overthrown.

Zane Gonzalez and Riley Patterson were both perfect on the day; neither missed a field goal.

Right Tackle Charlie Heck had a better day than yesterday, but overall had an up-and-down day overall

Rookie Will Kacmarek has had a strong camp so far, and today he had a very nice block that sprung De’Von Achane for a decent-sized gain on a running play

Tyrel Dodson had nice coverage on Achane on a pass play downfield

Will Kacmarek got called for holding on Chop Robinson
