Report: Another NFL Draftee Received Terrible Prank Call

It looks like Shedeur Sanders wasn't the only one who was the victim of a lame prank call during the 2025 NFL Draft, or even the first one.

According to Fox NFL insider Jordan Schultz, tight end Tyler Warren got a prank call early in the first round of the draft. Per the report, while the New York Jets were on the clock with the No. 7 overall pick, Warren got prank called by a number that is believed to be the same as the one that contacted Sanders.

"Sources: Penn State TE Tyler Warren was also prank called during the draft, receiving a call when the #Jets were on the clock at No. 7. I’m told Warren’s camp believes it was the same number and/or area code involved in the Shedeur Sanders prank on Friday night," Schultz wrote on X.

"NFL teams have access to these numbers, and it’s clear someone passed it along — whether to family or friends. Just so cruel."

Tyler Warren was ultimately taken No. 14 overall by the Indianapolis Colts.

While people may have dismissed it as a nothingburger when it happened to Shedeur Sanders, the fact that it happened multiple times in the same NFL Draft is a bit concerning:

"This is cruel. It's gonna keep happening each year until someone truly looks into it," one user replied.

"Too bad the NFL commissioner won’t investigate it. Only interested in witch hunts."

"Damn we got some goofy pranksters calling everyone."

"Whoever is giving their numbers to people who aren’t involved with the team needs to be fired immediately."

"Can’t the NFL figure out a secure communication system with draftees rather than the teams just calling their personal cell phones? Sad that it’s come to that but it’s what they need to do."

"It's disappointing to see this kind of behavior on such an important day. If it's the same individuals from the video, I hope the college takes the opportunity to guide them towards better choices and help them understand the impact of their actions."

The NFL has already pledged to investigate the prank call that went to Shedeur Sanders.

But if it's revealed that multiple different parties obtained those phone numbers and used it for pranks, then the NFL might have a slightly bigger problem on their hands.
