New England wide receiver Kayshon Boutte is interested in being traded from the Patriots, according to ESPN.

Boutte's outlook has been formed after the Patriots signed free agent receiver Romeo Doubs on March 10 and made the long-expected trade for star wideout A.J. Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, per ESPN.

The 24-year-old Boutte, entering the final year of his rookie contract with a base salary of $3.674 million, has not been participating in New England's voluntary workouts in the past few weeks.

Boutte caught 33 of 46 targets for 551 yards and six touchdowns in 14 regular-season games (10 starts) last season. He also made nine receptions for 168 yards and one TD in four games (one start) as the Patriots won the AFC Championship and advanced to the Super Bowl, where they lost to the Seattle Seahawks.

New England released leading receiver Stefon Diggs (85 receptions, 1,013 yards) in March, but the acquisitions of former Green Bay Packer Doubs, 26, and three-time Pro Bowl selection Brown, 28, could cut into Boutte's 2026 numbers and leverage for a long-term contract.

For his career, Boutte has 78 receptions for 1,159 yards and nine TDS in 34 games (23 starts) over parts of three seasons.

New England selected Boutte in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of LSU.
