The Jacksonville Jaguars traded running back Tank Bigsby to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday in exchange for 2026 fifth- and sixth-round picks, according to multiple reports.
Bigsby, 24, is expected to move into a kick return role, but might serve as a backup to Saquon Barkley after Will Shipley suffered a rib injury against the Dallas Cowboys in a 24-20 win on Thursday.
In the Jaguars' season-opening 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, Bigsby was outsnapped 40-14 by Travis Etienne and had only five touches compared to Etienne's 19. Bigsby generated 12 yards from scrimmage compared to 156 for Etienne, 143 on the ground.
Bigsby, a 2023 third-round draft pick, has 910 rushing yards on 223 attempts (4.1 yards per carry) in 34 career games. He has nine rushing touchdowns, along with eight receptions for 60 yards.
