Rex Ryan Shut Up

I find myself, over the years as I get older, not watching a lot of the NFL pregame shows or talk shows daily because it’s oversaturated coverage even in the off-season.

Some of the things talked about are nonsense, such as every off-season people trying to pump up the Dallas Cowboys when they haven’t done anything in over two decades, or shows having a ridiculous conversation about whether the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl despite quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Plus, shows are week to week, where one week your team is the best or going to the Super Bowl, and then the next week you are trash, so I chose not to watch it.

Then comes some out-of-bounds commentary by analysts like former head coach Rex Ryan. Ryan is good on television because he has the personality for it, but he likes to talk and hear his own, even if it’s crap coming out of his mouth. This past week, Ryan criticized the Miami Dolphins and head coach Mike McDaniel, “McNerd”.

That I felt was uncalled for and a little out of bounds because Ryan was a former head coach and failed as well. I don’t understand why he takes the time and calls coaches names like McDaniel or tells everyone, former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley, that he could coach a high school team or lower-level team.

You would think Ryan, being a failed head coach, would give his criticism and not degrade some of these head coaches, but no, Rex needs to have his voice heard, so we can all hear the poop that comes out of his mouth, just like when he was a head coach. He can analyze the games, give his criticism, and what he would do, but he shouldn’t be calling a head coach a nerd or coaching a high school team.

Listen, Fat Ass Rex, you were a failure as a head coach. Yes, you went to back-to-back AFC Championship games with the New York Jets in 2009 and 2010, but your teams crashed and burned in a hurry.

In fact, in 2009, even though your team made the playoffs and won some games, your team was lucky to get into the playoffs and beat teams that were resting their players, such as the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals, that year. Then you got fired by the Jets and hired by the Buffalo Bills, and failed in two seasons. Frankly, he also didn’t get a second season.

Rex likes to boast and be brash, which is fine; he’s not the first, and he won’t be the last.

He thinks he’s the best coaching candidate out there. Well, Rex, why hasn’t anyone given you another chance or at least interviewed you?

Yes, the Jets interviewed you last year, but they’re clueless as a franchise. He talked last year about how Jerry Jones wanted to hire him as DC of the Dallas Cowboys, but Jerry didn’t want to pay him.

Rex should stop talking out of his ass and going over the line, criticizing coaches and belittling them, because he was a failure as a coach, and nobody is knocking on his door. Maybe he’s trying to use his voice to do that, idk.

The fact is, nobody is hiring you to coach, so just shut up.
