Seahawks' new uniforms create some backlash after looking strikingly similar to fellow Pacific Northwest football team

Multiple NFL teams released a new series of uniforms ahead of the 2025 NFL season, under the title of rivalries.

One of those teams would be the Seattle Seahawks.

And while the conventional thought is that the uniforms look good, some say they are copycats of Oregon Football.

Seahawks release their rivalries uniforms

The uniform is a play on the dark colorways of Seattle with a mix of vibrant greens and blues, especially on the helmet. However, many seem to believe that Seattle took inspiration from, if not straight up mimicked the "Wolf Grey" uniforms from the Oregon Ducks...

Neither here nor there in my opinion, the uniforms were given out to the AFC East and NFC West, hence the rivalry component of it all. Meaning, the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers all have new threads.

It's clearly a new iteration of what the NFL did with the Color Rush uniforms that were featured on Thursday Night Football. Those uniforms were often featured on division rivals as a way to "wake up" many division games.

So it's safe to say that the Seattle Seahawks will look very different in 2025 and in more ways than one. A new offensive coordinator, scheme, quarterback, and now set of uniforms all give way to what the Seahawks hope to be a return to the playoffs in 2025.
