Davante Adams and the Los Angeles Rams face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. They're looking to stay hot after extending their winning streak to four games after defeating the San Francisco 49ers.

In that win, Adams had an impressive performance, being targeted eight times and hauling in six receptions for 77 yards and one touchdown. In his first season with the Rams, he's establishing himself as one of Matthew Stafford's favorite targets.

At 7-2, they're looking to win the NFC West for the second straight year and make a third consecutive playoff appearance. Unfortunately, in the second half against the 49ers, Adams suffered a back injury and didn't return.

Luckily, though, on Wednesday, head coach Sean McVay announced that even though Adams isn't expected to participate in practice, he is expected to play against the Seahawks.

"Rams coach Sean McVay says WR Davante Adams (oblique) won’t participate in practice today… but he does expect him to play Sunday vs. the Seahawks," ESPN's Lindsey Thiry wrote.

Through nine games, the six-time Pro Bowler has the second-most targets (78), second-most receptions (42), second-most yards (568) and most touchdowns (nine) on the Rams.

"The more reps we get, the better it's going to be," Stafford said of Adams, according to the team's senior staff writer Stu Jackson. "We are always communicating, talking to each other and giving each other feedback on what feels right and all that."

The Seahawks haven't been perfect at stopping the pass, allowing the 19th-most passing yards per game (216.7). Being able to attack that weakness makes this update on Adams even more crucial.

A final decision doesn't need to be announced until 90 minutes before kickoff, meaning the Rams have plenty of time to officially decide if Adams is ready to play.

The game is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium, airing on Fox.
