Round 1 – Pick 18 – Grey Zabel, Guard, North Dakota State

The Seattle Seahawks’ first-round pick might not be the most exciting for the fan base, but it was necessary. The franchise needed to be able to generate more push upfront in the run game, after ranking 28th in rushing yards per game for the 2024 season.

Zabel is all about the power, and he’ll dominate as a blocker for the Seahawks’ ground game. His athletic profile is off the charts, while packing a real punch in a compact frame.

The Seattle Seahawks got a do-it-all guard at #18, who many believed was the best interior line prospect in the entire class.

Grey Zabel is a 99th percentile athlete at guard.
