Shannon Sharpe, Chad 'OchoCinco' Johnson Criticize Cobee Bryant Over Snapchat Post

Falcons rookie cornerback Cobee Bryant is already drawing attention—both for his potential on the field and his actions off it. Regarded by many Atlanta fans as a possible breakout star and one of the biggest steals of the draft after signing as an undrafted free agent, Bryant has also made headlines for a series of questionable decisions since joining the team.

Bryant recently posted a photoshopped image on Snapchat showing Lamar Jackson’s body with James Harden’s face, a move that many interpreted as a subtle jab. The implication drew attention because, while Harden is widely regarded as a talented player, he has often fallen short in the playoffs—a criticism some analysts and fans have also directed at Jackson

Sharpe and Ocho Weigh In on Bryant’s Meme During Nightcap.

During a recent episode of Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson reacted to Bryant’s controversial Snapchat post, and neither held back in their disapproval. Sharpe emphasized that Bryant, as an undrafted rookie, should be focused on proving himself rather than taking shots at star players like  Jackson. “It’s a little early for you to be talking this kind of noise,” Sharpe said. “You need to be Pat Surtain, you need to be Jalen Ramsey, one of them big dogs.”

“Now you got my attention,” Johnson said. “Let’s see if the memes and the jokes match up with the play—because it’s got to make sense.”

Whether it was a calculated move to gain attention or a misguided joke, Bryant has placed a target on his back before even stepping onto an NFL field. In a league where respect is earned through performance, not posts, the spotlight is officially on him. If Bryant wants to be taken seriously, he’ll need to do more than go viral — he’ll have to deliver when it counts.
