Shedeur Sanders has found another way to connect with Cleveland, this time through a heartwarming gesture for young players at Glenville High School.
Denise White, CEO and founder of EAG Sports Management, took to Threads to share details of the gesture involving Sanders and global brand Nike. According to White, the partnership provided nearly 50 pairs of brand-new cleats for the Glenville High School varsity kids.
White’s post showed new footwear being delivered to the school children. She described Cleveland as home and highlighted the importance of giving back to the young men coming up behind Sanders.
The gesture gives the Glenville High School varsity kids another reason to feel supported. It also adds another layer to Sanders’ growing connection with the city he now represents in the NFL.
Shedeur Sanders has built a strong following in Cleveland since the Browns selected him in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Recent reports suggested that ticket prices dropped after Todd Monken chose Deshaun Watson as his QB1 for Week 1.
The price for the Panthers game reportedly fell from $55-$64 to $35, while the Steelers matchup dropped from $88-$98 to $70. Those changes suggested Sanders’ presence carried significant appeal for Browns fans.
Now, this latest gesture offers another glimpse of that connection. Sanders and Nike have given varsity kids at Glenville High School something to remember as they begin their season.
