ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith may be one of the busiest people in sports media.
Aside from headlining ESPN's "First Take" since joining permanently in 2012 and appearing on shows across the network, Smith dabbles in acting on ABC's "General Hospital," is considering running for president in 2028 and also hosts the "Stephen A. Smith Show" on YouTube.
Just when people don't think Smith can get any busier or appear on any more shows, he confirmed on Friday's "Good Morning America" that he will be joining "Monday Night Countdown" for the Week 9 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys (2-3-1) and Arizona Cardinals (2-4.)
However, before Smith could even discuss his next move, NFL legend Michael Strahan poked fun at Smith, saying "he doesn't sleep." A comment that led to Smith firing back with a joke of his own directed at Strahan.
"I'm trying to get where Michael Strahan is," Smith quipped. "That's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to be you one day."
Strahan, who is a six-time All-Pro and Super Bowl champ that was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014 may be the one person in sports media who can give Smith a run for his money when it comes to how busy he is.
Aside from his role on "Good Morning America," which he joined full-time in 2016, Strahan also hosts "The $100,000 Pyramid," which was recently renewed for an eighth season and has also been a part of Fox's "NFL Sunday" since 2008.
It may be difficult to find busier people in the media than these two, but obviously they are great at what they do and are able to somehow balance it all.
