The '14-reception NFL games' quiz

While the Cincinnati Bengals are 2-0, squeaking out wins over the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars won’t exactly have fans raving. Especially now that star quarterback Joe Burrow will be out for three months due to a toe injury that requires surgery.

Burrow was replaced by backup Jake Browning in the second quarter, who went 21-of-32 with two touchdowns plus a game-winning touchdown rush, but did throw three interceptions as well. 10 of those 21 completions went to Ja’Marr Chase, who finished the game with 14 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. It was Chase’s third 14-reception game, and he’s already tied for third all-time just five years into his career. If the Bengals are going to stay afloat with Browning under center, he may end up breaking the record of six this season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Can you name every NFL player in the Super Bowl Era (since 1966) to catch 14 passes in a game?

Good luck!
