Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills season ended in disappointment once again last season after falling in overtime to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round.
In Week 1 of the 2026 campaign against what is expected to be one of the best defenses in the league this year, Allen came out with a vengeance to beat the Houston Texans 36-31. The 2024 MVP started his ninth NFL season by completing 20-of-29 passes for 334 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another 23 yards and two more scores.
The win was also Allen’s first victory in Houston and just his second over Houston ever in five tries, with the former seventh-overall draft pick losing in his first three trips to Reliant stadium.
It was a great start to the season for Allen and first-year head coach Joe Brady, but with their Super Bowl aspirations, they’ll hope it isn’t the last “first,” they experience together this year.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The performance against Houston was Allen’s ninth-career game with two passing AND two rushing touchdowns, five more than anyone else in the NFL’s Super Bowl Era (since 1966). With that being said, can you name every player with at least one such game?
Good luck!
