The 'D-Linemen with an NFL TD-catch' quiz

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of many teams whose veterans are reporting to training camp on July 28, but one important player won’t be there…sort of. 

Veteran defensive lineman Vita Vea has requested a trade from the Bucs after progress on contract extension stalled, per NFL insider Adam Schefter. Vea has spent his entire eight-year career in Tampa Bay, but the $18 million he’s owed on the final year of his current deal aren’t guaranteed and the two-time Pro Bowler is expected to hold in to avoid fines   at training camp.

Vea has a reputation as one of the great run-stoppers in the NFL, and he accumulated 34 tackles, 13 tackles-for-loss and 4.5 sacks in 2025. If the request is more than just a ploy to bring the Bucs to the table, there should be plenty of teams interested in his services. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Not only is Vea great at plugging up holes the offensive line tries to create, but he’s also one of the few defensive lineman who have a touchdown catch to their name in the Super Bowl Era.
