There is no denying that Justin Jefferson has already gone on to establish himself as one of the greatest NFL wide receivers for the Minnesota Vikings and the league in general.
As the 2026 season approaches, Jefferson has the chance to accomplish something only Mike Evans has done in NFL history.
As it currently stands, only Evans currently has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first seven seasons. If Jefferson accomplishes this in 2026, he will join Evans.
Mike Evans is the only player with 1,000+ receiving yards in each of their first 7 seasons.

Throughout Jefferson’s first six seasons so far, he has produced 8,480 yards, which is already even better than what Evans accomplished in seven seasons to reach this mark, as Evans produced 8,266 yards across that time.
With the Vikings now having Kyler Murray under center, he provides better stability at the quarterback position and can help elevate Jefferson’s chances to reach this mark early on in the 2026 season.
Jefferson has already put together a historic career, and with everything trending upward for the Vikings this season, he should comfortably join Evans in NFL history this season.
