The NFL is set to officially release its entire 2026 regular season schedule on Thursday, May 14. However, plenty of matchups have already trickled out.

We know that the Seahawks will be hosting the Patriots in the season opener. We also know that the Rams and the 49ers will be playing the following day, live from Australia on Sept. 10. The Cowboys and the Giants, meanwhile, will be playing the first "Sunday Night Football" game of the year that weekend.

The NFL always goes big for holiday week games, too. We'll officially know the complete Thanksgiving Week and Christmas Week games on Thursday. However, three Thanksgiving Week matchups have been set.

They're big.

We know that the following three games will be played on Thanksgiving Week:

  • Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday night, Nov. 25: Rams vs. Packers in Los Angeles
  • Thanksgiving Day: Lions vs. Packers in Detroit
  • Thanksgiving Afternoon: Cowboys vs. Eagles in Dallas

That's a loaded Thanksgiving Week slate. There's been speculation that the Patriots and Chiefs could be playing on Thanksgiving Night, too.

NFL's Thanksgiving Week slate is jam-packed with intrigue

The Thanksgiving Eve game will feature two top contenders in the NFC, with the Rams hosting the Packers. There's a coaching rivalry there, too, as Sean McVay and Matt LaFleur are longtime friends and competitors.

On Thanksgiving Day, we'll get two loaded divisional rivalry games, with the Lions facing the Bears, and the Cowboys facing the Eagles.

Get your popcorn ready, because there's going to be a lot of fun action going on in the National Football League during Thanksgiving Week.
