The 'NFL sack leaders by season' quiz

Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals still don't have a deal done, but Hendrickson gave Bengals fans some hope for the future by reporting to training camp without a new contract.

On paper, the Cincinnati Bengals should have one of the most explosive offensive units in the NFL once again in 2025. But despite having quarterback Joe Burrow racking up 4,918 yards and 43 touchdowns and Ja'Marr Chase winning the receiving triple crown, their defense let them down. The Bengals finished the 2024-25 season tied with the Raiders for the seventh-most points allowed (434), eighth-most yards allowed (5,921). This was despite the fact that Hendrickson led the NFL with 17.5 sacks while forcing two fumbles en route to his first ever First-Team All-Pro designation.

Which brings us to today's quiz. The NFL began officially tracking sacks in 1982. How many of the year-by-year leaders in sacks can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
