Happy 38th birthday to two-time Pro Bowler, two-time 1,000-yard receiver and Super Bowl XLVIII champion, Doug Baldwin!
After signing with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2011 out of Stanford, Baldwin carved himself out a solid eight-year NFL career in the Pacific Northwest. He immediately contributed as a rookie, catching 51 passes for 788 yards and four touchdowns in his introductory campaign.
By 2013, he was contributing in the Super Bowl, catching five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in the famous 43-8 drubbing of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
His most productive regular seasons came in 2015 and 2016. 2015 saw him set a career-high with 14 receiving-touchdowns to lead the NFL, while he racked up a personal-best 1,128 yards in 2016 en route to his first-career Pro Bowl.
He made his second Pro Bowl in 2017, but was limited to 13 games in 2018 and retired that offseason.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Baldwin’s 14 touchdowns weren’t just the most touchdown catches, they were the most in the NFL that season among all non-quarterbacks. With that being said, can you name the players to lead the NFL in touchdowns for each season since 2000?
Good luck!
