There Are 3 NFL Games Today - Here’s The Thanksgiving Schedule

If you're an NFL fan, there's no better holiday than Thanksgiving. Not only do you get to sit down with your loved ones and enjoy a glorious meal, you get to sit back and watch a trio of intense games.

This year's Thanksgiving slate kicks off with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, two NFC North teams trending in opposite directions. Chicago is currently on a five-game losing streak, whereas Detroit has won its last nine games. The Lions have looked so dominant during that stretch that many people are considering them to be the favorites in the NFC, and rightfully so.

After the Bears and Lions battle it out in the Motor City, the NFL will swing over to the Lone Star State for an NFC East showdown. The Dallas Cowboys will host the New York Giants in a battle between two awfully disappointing franchises this year.

The Cowboys are coming off an upset win against the Washington Commanders, but make no mistake about it, the 2024 season has been a letdown for them. At 4-7, they're expected to make some serious changes to their coaching staff and roster in the offseason. As for the Giants, they might be one loss away from firing head coach Brian Daboll.

Last but certainly not least, the Miami Dolphins will travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers this Thursday evening. Both teams are ascending right now and arguably playing their best football of the season. If Tua Tagovailoa can keep up with Jordan Love, we could be treated to a shootout on Thanksgiving.

Here's the full schedule:

  • Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS
  • New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys - 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Miami Dolphins vs. Green Bay Packers - 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

This might not be the flashiest Thanksgiving slate we've ever seen, but it'll get the job done.

Once these three games wrap up, the NFL will have a quick turnaround since there's a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year for NFL fans.
