Three Eagles on the chopping block as calendar turns to November

As Philadelphia Eagles fans recover from their candy comas from Halloween, they will also enjoy a stress-free weekend of no football in Philly.

The Eagles enter the bye week with a 6-2 record and hope they will get off on the right foot with a primetime showdown with the Green Bay Packers. Philly has won their last two games against the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants with quarterback Jalen Hurts rolling to the point that he's starting to cement himself in the MVP conversation.

With that being said, there are a few players on the roster that might be prime candidates to be traded or might as well accept their fate of being free agents in the offseason. Three players come to mind that might be nearing the end of their time in Philly.

Kelee Ringo, CB

There hasn't been a more polarizing player on the roster in 2025 than Ringo, who has struggled throughout the season. Despite decent numbers of 24 tackles, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery, he has a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 58.2, ranking 64th out of 113 cornerbacks. With Michael Carter's arrival in Philly, Ringo will either be dealt at the trade deadline or won't be back after the season.

A.J. Dillon, RB

It's pretty simple: Tank Bigsby ran for 104 yards on nine carries in the 38-20 win over the New York Giants. That's hard to top as a backup, especially since Dillon has 12 carries for 60 yards on the ground and a bad fumble in the first Giants matchup. The former Packers running back not only lost his backup job to Bigsby, but most likely will find a new team.

Jahan Dotson, WR

Dotson might have had the catch of the year for the Eagles when he Mossed a Giants cornerback for a long touchdown in Week 8, but his overall numbers have not been great. He has eight catches for 151 yards and one touchdown this season. With Dallas Goedert and even Saquon Barkley having more receiving yards and touchdowns than Dotson, not picking up his fifth-year option on his rookie season doesn't look like a bad move at all.
