The Denver Broncos started off the 2025 NFL season at home in Week 1 as they are currently facing off against the Tennessee Titans.

Tennessee grabbed an early lead in the game as Joey Slye knocked through a 50-yard field goal early in the first quarter to give the Titans a 3-0 lead.

Denver then answered on their next drive with a 39-yard field goal by Will Lutz to tie the game.

Slye then made a 33-yard field goal late in the second quarter to give the Titans a 6-3 advantage but Denver was able to answer ahead of halftime with quarterback Bo Nix hitting wide receiver Courtland Sutton for a 22-yard touchdown pass to give the Broncos a 10-6 lead.

Tennessee then added a 42-yard field goal by Slye to end the first half being down 10-9 at halftime.

Titans-Broncos Under Weather Delay for Lightning

While the two sides were in the locker room during halftime, it was announced that the game will be delayed due to severe lighting in the Denver area.

The Broncos still have yet to announce what time the game will resume but when it does fans can catch the game on Fox.

Broncos' First Half Recap

For the Broncos, it was a rough first half for them as they were unable to get it going offensively with Nix completing 13 of his 22 passes for 106 yards, one touchdown to Sutton and an interception.

Denver has also struggled running the ball as J.K. Dobbins has only 11 yards on four carries while rookie back RJ Harvey has 13 yards on three carries.

Despite this, the Broncos were able to take the lead into halftime and they will look to continue to give fits to Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward in the second half as they look to start the season off with a victory.
