Tom Brady Addresses Rumor About Him Leaving FOX Before 2025 Season

Tom Brady is set to wrap up his first year as an NFL broadcaster this Sunday during Super Bowl LIX.

He'll be the color commentator for FOX alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt for Sunday's Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl.

Brady has been juggling this role and being a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders throughout the 2024 season. He assisted the Raiders in their coaching and general manager search despite being the top analyst for FOX.

It's led people to speculate about his future as a broadcaster but based on what he told Sports Illustrated's Jimmy Traina, he's going to be calling games for the remainder of his 10-year deal with FOX.

"It's been an awesome journey these last 18 months and I know I got another at least 9 years to go and hopefully more," Brady told Traina

That doesn't sound like someone who is contemplating quitting one job for the other. Brady seems to be committed to doing both and doing his absolute best.

He does have certain restrictions for the job with FOX since he's a minority owner of the Raiders. For example, Brady can't be in production meetings with coaches, players, and executives of teams where he's the lead analyst. Brady also can't go into other teams' facilities.

Despite those restrictions, he still loves calling games for FOX and wants to keep doing it for the remainder of his contract. If Brady sticks to that plan, he'll get a chance to call multiple Super Bowls for FOX since the network rotates with the other NFL TV rightsholders.

He'll hopefully call a great game this Sunday when the Chiefs and Eagles battle for this season's NFL championship. The Chiefs are trying to win their third Super Bowl in a row while the Eagles are trying to win their second Super Bowl in franchise history.

Kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
