Tom Brady hasn’t made too many mistakes in his career in the spotlight, as the former NFL quarterback used his playing days to elevate himself to be the greatest player at his position of all time. But there is a blemish on his post-career resume, one that he wishes he could take back for the sake of his children.
Back in May 2024, Netflix aired what ended up being a wildly successful and popular three hour show. It was a roast of Tom Brady, the all-time great quarterback known for winning a record seven Super Bowl championships. The special featured some of the day’s hottest comedians, the QBs former teammates, and even celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Ben Affleck, and Will Ferrell.
There were no punches held back by the roasters. There were jokes that poked not only at Brady himself, but many centered around his rocky relationship with his ex-wife as well as other family-centric topics. Some moments and segments left audiences with dropped jaws given the content, which boosted the show’s popularity and reception during its first few days of availability.
Heartbreaking: Tom Brady says he regrets agreeing to the Netflix Roast because of the harmful effect that it had on his children:
“It was tough on my kids for sure… There are some things as a parent you f**k up and don’t realize until after.”

In the days and months that followed, Tom Brady has had some regrets about the entire situation. He has been quoted before saying that the show was tough on his children, and he doubled down on that notion during a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast “Impaulsive”.
“There are some things as a parent you f**k up and don’t realize until after,” Brady said of the ordeal. And while he didn’t directly say that he regrets agreeing to do the roast, the message of his comments was rather clear.
Brady went on to touch on a multitude of topics during the interview, including things from his playing days as well as his life as a broadcaster and team part-owner.
